Senior Inspector

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in and facilitate daily planning and progress update activities with site and field management.
  • Proactively lead the execution of the inspections on site.
  • Ensure HSE is a high standard across the team.
  • Be responsible for ensuring a safe situation for confined space rescue.
  • Ensure the inspection data is captured and transferred to the Field Management.
  • Management of work orders
  • Training and development of inspectors and technicians
  • Tasks:
  • Carry out all activities with a safety focused and conscientious manner.
  • Ensure all PPE and tooling are available to execute the inspection.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate method, tooling and correct PPE.
  • Take part and or lead in inductions, safety briefings, toolbox talks and liaise with the Site Team to ensure daily activities are efficiently and safely coordinated.
  • The inspector will be able to perform straightforward unsupervised inspections in accordance with a Task Procedure for new structures and / or ageing structures.
  • Take accurate measurements, levelling and surveying of various structural components of the offshore structure.
  • Develop the ability to check structural drawings and highlight/report any defects when present.
  • Have the ability to lead contracted technicians and provide instruction on performing the task.
  • The inspector will be capable of making basic subjective judgements on routine inspection results and assistance will be available by Field Managers or Engineering when dealing with more technically complex situations.
  • Provide Daily Progress Reports to Site and Inspection Management on the progress of works.


Inspector

34kV Control Engineer

Responsibilities

· Act as Control Person for MV switching Operations in the German wind farms.

· Check and approve WTG switching schedules (34kV network).

· Execute process “HV switching Operations with Control Room NOM”

· Coordinate switching activities on WTGs.

· Interface to Control Person for HV


Key Tasks

· Review of WTG switching Schedules

· Be on duty in the control room onshore in a shift pattern

· Instruct switching operations to WTG-APs on site

· Coordinate switching activities offshore with WTG maintenance organization


Deliverables:

· Safe and well-coordinated of switching operations.

HV Control Engineer
