Job description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Wind Turbine Service Technicians. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Perform inspections and tests to identify and address potential faults or failures.
  • Install, repair, and replace parts and components as needed, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing turbine availability.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety among team members.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a wind turbine service technician.
  • GWOs Certificates.
  • Medical and Chester certificates.
  • UK work permit.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including their mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to climb wind turbines and work in challenging weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
