Job description

The QHSE Manager Services coordinates, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment activities across the Service Organization in the Netherlands. As interface to the Service department the QHSE Manager Services mainly provides advice and support on all aspects related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental matters and their potential impact within the service organization. The QHSE Manager Services ensures compliance with all local legal regulations and corporate QHSE Management systems.

  • Support the implementation of QHSE systems and procedures
  • Define Risk Assessment and Methods Statements and/or in the Service Area
  • Plan and perform internal VCA audit
  • Follow up on QHSE improvements and actions
  • Organize and perform audits and inspections on Sites / Service Points / offices
  • Participate in incident investigations
  • Support the development of Health and Safety plans
  • Managing Waste Management in the Service Organization
  • Ensure that legal compliance with local HSE laws and regulations in the Service Area is maintained 
  • Implement QHSE customer requirements in the Service Area
  • Prepare monthly QHSE Services reports

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years’ work experience at a technical/industrial company or as QHSE-Manager
  • Formal education in QHSE or in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Completed a minimum of “Middelbare Veiligheidskunde” education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the standards, Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001), Health and Safety (ISO 45001) and VCA
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch & English is required (both spoken and written)
  • Environmental experience
  • Ability to work in a team, self-organized and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under stress, quick grasp and capable of making decisions
  • Readiness for extended business trips to construction sites, wind farms and service locations within the Netherlands on a frequent basis; travel to HQ in Hamburg may also be required
  • Physically able and qualified to work at heights
