Atlas Professionals is active within the Renewables industry and got an exciting permanent open position for a Sr. Project Engineer Energy Storage Systems. Job description

As a Sr project engineer storage systems you will be dealing with customers and suppliers on a global level . Especially for you as a specialist and responsible one for the storage systems you will be dealing with technical issues related to these energy storage solutions. You will be the person to various parties, like project leads, installation managers, suppliers and (sub)contractors to provide intensive technical consultations.

You translate customer-specific questions about energy storage systems and grid connections into creative and functional solutions. Naturally, you work in accordance with applicable (inter)national standards and monitor and guarantee the correct application of those standards and regulations with regard to the solutions to be delivered.

You perform calculations on electrotechnical grid connections or networks to check them against the correct product specifications. You translate technical solutions into electrotechnical diagrams and work out new functional solutions in concrete various electrotechnical products that meet the customer's requirements. You agree the product specifications with the customer and translate them into parts lists, electrical diagrams and working drawings.

Job requirements

Experience in translating customer-specific questions into a solid electrical engineering design will help you become successful in this role. Safety is very important to us and will help you to obtain relevant certificates if not already in place.  

For a good match, your curricular and academics should show that you:

  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or similar
  • Experienced with MS Office, CAD, PDM and ERP systems
  • Excellent organizing skills and working systematically, effectively and efficiently.
  • You are that creative colleague who comes up with original applications and solutions and advise on the introduction of new methods and processes to replace existing ones
  • Challenge yourself and others to take initiatives and improve results. Problem solver and initiative taker.
  • Fluent in the English language, both in speech and in writing, Dutch in not a requirement but nice to be able to understand and speak a little. You must be able to communicate your ideas and opinions clearly in order for your colleagues to be taken along in GREAT ideas and realize them.
