Short summary

We are looking for a Crewing Manager to join our Client Company for a Wind Farm project in Taiwan, Taichung.

Job description

  1. Directly in charge for all crewing matters of the PKRO fleet
  2. Overseeing the day-to-day working of PKRO Crewing Team
  3. Ensure crewing requirements of PKRO fleet are met, in accordance with service level agreements and customer expectations (Managing Local Crew Recruitment & Working closely with Manning Agents and local maritime universities.)
  4. Develop / prepare crewing strategies, policies and procedures and ensure that they are in alignment with the company’s overall expansions plans
  5. Continually review crewing operations to optimize crewing related costs and ensure it is within budget
  6. Engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  7. Actively establish and participate in crew engagement
  8. Attend and manage P&I matters and claims related to crew
  9. Approval of Crew Payroll
  10. Develop crewing team members’ skills and competencies
  11. Liaison with local government bodies, such as MPB and MOL.

Job requirements


  • Reports to the Fleet Manager at Taichung Office
  • At least 4 years of experience in handling marine crew, with 1 year in supervisory role
  • Good interpersonal and social skills
  • Good command of English & Chinese (written and spoken)
  • Positive and open mindset
  • High motivated personnel who can work independently and is also a good team player and able to work closely with the other departments
  • Good knowledge of international crewing regulations including (local) flag state requirements, STCW, ILO & MLC2006 etc
  • Ability to manage cross-cultural crew / relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
