Job description

 To ensure compliance with local/national applicable legislation.

 Adherence to the contractual technical specifications

 Technical issues management

 Data quality and integrity verification and approval

 Compliance of project objectives.

 Observed geo-hazards or geologic/sedimentary events having potential

impact on route/site feasibility

 To promote and verify compliance with client policies, procedures and work

instructions.

 To full fill reporting requirements

 To maintain close communication with client technical and administrative

management

Job requirements

Geophysical SS Experience:

 10-15 years’ experience in Marine site survey investigations, including the

acquisition, processing and interpretation of Geophysical data and 2D-3D

High resolution seismic data. Experience in Geotechnical studies and

integration of Geotechnical and Geophysical data for Geohazard studies.

 Experience in Geophysics acquisition for marine site surveys should include

processing and interpretation of: Multi Beam Echosounder, High resolution

side scan sonar, High resolution sub bottom profiler, Marine magnetometer,

and High-resolution seismic data.

 Strong knowledge of seismic marine data processing is required.

 Demonstrable strong HSE background.

 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training is desirable.

 Experience in Guyana basin is a plus

Geotechnical SS Experience:

 Have experience (at least 10 years) in soil boring and CPT. Also, be

proficiency of usage of precise maritime positioning system (GPS).

 Be fluent in English language both in written and spoken.

 Assess Geo–technical & QAQC the core acquisition

More info

Minimum higher education: University degree in Engineering, Geology,

Electronics, Geophysics, Marine Science or Maine Technology is required

Other studies: Training in the seismic equipment, seismic processing, analogue

geophysics processing and interpretation.

Level of language:

 Fluent spoken and written English.

 Good command in local language.

Other requirements:

 Have in possession of valid medical fit to work certificate (according IOGP

470 guideline) issued one year or less from the date agreed for the Startup.

 UKOOA Health Certificate.

 COVID-19 Vaccine (Preferred)

 Valid BOSIET certificate.
