Job description

Our client are looking for an experienced OSS LV/Aux Technician to assist the OSS Commissioning Team in performing all commissioning related tasks.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Supervise OSS LV and Aux systems commissioning activities and associated planning
  • Ensure that commissioning activities comply with supply contract and project requirements in terms of HSE, quality, planning and cost
  • Insist zero harm HSE policy through deep involvement in HSE on a daily basis
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are executed in due time and performed following established procedure
  • Contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication between all parties and that the process works effectively
  • Ensure human resources, services and tools required to perform the work have been identified and are mobilized in due time by the Contractor
  • Monitor LV and Aux systems performance and work activities to ensure safety
Tasks (including but not limited to):
  • Prepare, attend and lead toolbox talks, site and/or asset inductions
  • Review and comment HAT, SAT, SIT procedures
  • Attend, coordinate and execute HAT, SAT, SIT 
  • Comment relevant HSE and commissioning documentation
  • Prepare, review, comment LV switching schedules and SLD
  • Apply/remove LOTO and work acc.to Mechanical and Electrical Safety Rules
  • Perform isolations, energizations and de-energizations on LV and Auxiliary systems
  • Perform site walk-downs and checks of all the OSS LV and Auxiliary equipment
  • Review and issue Inspection reports / Walk-down reports / Daily Progress Reports
  • Perform general maintenance and inspections of OSS LV and Auxiliary systems
  • Register, review and supervise resolution of the LV and Auxiliary Punch List items (Non Conformance, major or minor punch items) on the OSS
  • Act as an Employer on-site representative
Job length is January 2022 - June 2022 with possible extension until December 2023



Job requirements

  • All GWO
  • Medical test for offshore work
  • Electrical Accreditation Training for working in France B1(v) B2(v) BC BR H1(v) H2(v) as per NF C-18510
  • Strong experience in LV and Auxiliary systems commissioning and maintenance 
  • Strong experience in electrical systems
  • Recommended 3 years of work experience in wind industry 
  • Recommended 1 year of experience in similar position 
  • Flexible and ready to work in team 
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in the English and/or French language
  • Should be able to perform basic tasks on MS Office
