Location: Darlington, UK

Job Summary:

Are you a technically strong senior survey professional looking to progress your career into AUVs and the future of smart subsea services?
My client is looking for a degree educated, senior survey professional with experience offshore and onshore in both renewables and oil & gas.

The ideal candidate will be expected to work in the office in Darlington as Project Surveyor undertaking the planning and preparations for projects. There may also be a requirement to travel offshore around the world with the equipment acting as the Party Chief.

Accountability:

 Sound knowledge of the Business Management System (BMS) framework and governance  Demonstrate behaviours and attitude which align to and support the client core values

Responsibilities:

 Supporting Internal Management Forums completing specific focused tasks, to support the continuing improvement in operational excellence and the long term company strategy
 Provide ongoing survey support to Construction, IRM & Survey Projects throughout the project life cycle
 Provide technical and commercial input to tenders
 To ensure that all survey-related activities are undertaken in accordance with QHSE procedures
 Develop project procedures and quality plans in alignment with processes
 Identify required equipment and oversee ordering, checking and timely delivery of equipment to worksites
 Support project during client meetings/Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA)  Attend onshore calibrations and liaise with third party service providers
 Undertake project briefings/ debriefings during periods of mobilisation / demobilisation with key survey personnel / other project personnel
 To act as liaison on behalf of project both with internal and external interfaces
 Ensure that end of trip reports are closed out in a timely manner with lessons learned being captured and communicated
 Supervise/assist project surveyors as required
 Liaise and develop close working relationship with wider Assets & Services department and project related external Clients as required
