We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Rewind Operator, to be based in Bell Block, New Plymouth.

Our client is a premium producer of electrical cabling. The value their people, have a commitment to excellence, and conduct themselves in a safe and ethical manner.
Reporting to the Rewind Department Lead you will be an integral part of the Nexans team.

Job description

• Temporary assignment; rewinding electrical cabling onto commercial spools and bobbins
• Mon – Friday; 8 hour shifts initially starting at 6 am while training then a rotation between day and afternoon shifts.

Job requirements

About you:

• Current Forklift certificate advantageous, but not essential
• Previous experience operating machinery in a production setting
• Ability to work autonomously once trained
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test
• Available immediately
