Technical Auditor(s) to complete Seismic Technical Audit, potential location in Contractor’s OBN staging
location onshore and offshore central Gulf of Mexico (before seismic acquisition commences). Should multiple OBN / source vessels be utilized and their arrivals are staggered, it is feasible to consider that the same Technical Auditor could audit all vessels. A Technical Audit is an independent assessment of seismic vessel technical systems, procedures and methods. A suitably qualified and experienced engineer will visit a seismic crew for a short period (typically in the Mobilization phase and
through acquisition of the first seismic line) and carry out an examination, observation and technical investigation. The engineer will be equipped to examine and test the contractor's equipment using independent measuring devices. At the end of the audit, the auditor will issue a draft report to Company with the final report to be delivered within three (3) weeks of its completion. Contractor shall provide detailed technical audit methodology in its proposal.
- Experience working as a Seismic Technical Auditor
- Experience working on OBN surveys
- Valid BOSIET/FOET including HUET and CA-EBS
- Valid Offshore medical certificate (OGUK, Seafarers Medical)
